Introduction of the Unified GCC Visa

The Saudi Tourism Authority has revealed plans for a revolutionary Unified GCC visa, enabling travelers to visit all six Gulf countries with stays exceeding 30 days, expected to launch by the year's end. The announcement came from Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, at the Arabian Travel Market. This travel permit is hailed as a transformative initiative for the Gulf region, aiming to enhance tourism and facilitate seamless travel across member countries. This initiative seeks to stimulate tourism and streamline travel throughout the GCC region. Comprising Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, the Gulf Cooperation Council is actively participating in this endeavour.
