Saudi Arabia is implementing localization targets across various sectors. Engineering professions in private sector firms with at least 5 employees must achieve 25% Saudization starting July 21, 2024. These efforts are part of broader initiatives to increase local employment and comply with updated Saudi labor laws.

Additionally, sales and procurement professions have localization targets. Sales roles, including sales managers and IT sales specialists, must be Saudized by 15%. Meanwhile, procurement roles, such as procurement managers and tender specialists, need to achieve a 50% Saudization rate.

Project management professions in companies with three or more employees are required to reach a 35% localization ratio by December 24, 2023, increasing to 40% by December 12, 2024. The minimum monthly salary for these roles is SAR 6,000.
