A new 200-meter floating pedestrian bridge is set to connect both sides of Al Mamzar Beach in Dubai, marking the city's first of its kind. The bridge allows visitors to traverse over the water surface, providing a unique experience without getting wet. This announcement coincides with the awarding of contracts by Dubai's urban planning committee for the development of Al Mamzar and Jumeirah 1 beaches. These public beaches will undergo partial closures during development, with safety measures being implemented for open areas. The project, totaling Dh355 million, aims to develop a 4.3km stretch of Al Mamzar beach and a 1.4km section of Jumeirah 1, with completion expected within 18 months.
